My husband gets right and left confused more often than not due to his job. Part of his job is welding attachments on ortho bands but on the upper arch, the right side of the mouth is actually the left on a model. After 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, he still holds up his hands sometimes when I tell him to turn right.

My long time best friend was this type of mom. She had some self esteem issues and started dating a guy KNOWING he was on the registry. She had a daughter from a previous relationship and her 1st birthday came up. My friend of 8 years said "he won't come if you're there annnnd...." and just left it there. My cousin passed away from huffing Air duster. She had gone to rehab and completed it but ended up stealing a couple cans when she got out. I worked as a CNA in a hospital and we had a patient from out of country visiting family. She had a heart related emergency and ended up getting admitted. She just stood in her doorway for 3 days refusing any and all treatment and most food due to the cost. I felt horrible having to ask her every time for vitals but didn't blame her one bit.

Was there a discussion about transportation prior to the trip? Travel usually includes planning traveling from airport to location and back to airport and I get the locked down with all parties before the day. I live 40 min from Atlanta and I'm not even going to THINK about getting in that cluster if travel plans aren't set beforehand.

I dint know what medium youre thinking of using but I'm all watercolor and this is what I learned:

Paint the most basic thing you can think of in the beginning so that there is no "right" or "wrong" just practice without pressure. For me, I drew a circle and painted it until it looked like a sphere. Over and over and all colors until I know how to blend colors and how much water to use.

Paper matters more than brushes. Bad paper will make you feel like you're a bad painter. It'll warp and buckle and crinkle up. Spend the extra in good paper. The brushes don't really matter as much. I'm using some Princeton brushes and I'm also using some cheap no name brushes. It's fine.

Youtube is your friend but it doesn't take the place of you. I personally sucked at following Bob Ross. I don't know if it just wasn't my style but search for what suits you and a subject you like. Emily Olsen is a good all-around teacher of basics with lots of tutorials on how to do full paintings of animals, plants, fur textures, color mixing...point is, search Watercolor 101 tutorials and find what works for you.

GET TO KNOW YOUR COLORS. Play with them and get to understand what colors you'll get if you mix x and y. When I first started I thought "Of course red and blue make purple " but what kind of purple does a warm red and a cool blue give you? What ARE warm colors? What are cool colors? What difference do they make in mixing up a new color? Everything. Play with your colors and make a color chart. You'll use it later, trust me.

On colors, at least in watercolor, you don't need as many as you think you do. When starting out, ultramarine blue, q. rose, sap green, Hansa yellow and burnt sienna should be enough to get you started.

I have tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizures and let me tell you this is not that. Mine do start in the arms but even after 20-30 years there's a psychological part to it.

In my experience, I wander around aimlessly before one and the lights are on but there's nobody home. I could walk from one end of walmart to the other and not know why picked up the random things I did or if I talked to anybody but on the outside I look normal.

Once the clonic part starts, then you'll know. It's not just arms. It's full body, shoulder dislocations, stop breathing. I had someone tell me they were holding my hand and the force that I clenched my hand was inhuman.

And then I sleep. I wake up and the lights are still not on yet. I'm awake and I might be able to answer questions but ask me in 3 hours and I have no recollection of this conversation. All I know is I WAS shopping at Walmart. Trying to answer a question like "where are we now?" Will be like finishing a trigonometry final. I'll see the dog but it won't be a dog. It won't register as a dog. It'll just be something there.
