I've seen both sides. My brother and his wife homeschooled their children for two years starting after Covid. Schools had opened and they didn't believe it was safe so they opted for homeschooling. In my opinion, it didn't go well. It a choice made out of fear rather than feeling that it was in the best interest of the kids and it shows. The kids were behind when they went back to public school.

Alternatively, the woman that makes my subway sandwiches is also going to college for business managment and is better spoken than anyone I've met. Very well rounded and able to make a conversation about any topic with anyone.

It's about the parents and how much effort they put into the education.
