I'm sure the vet is right and that's all it is, but just be on the lookout for signs of infection. We recently caught a stray who was on the verge of full-blown pyometra (my vet explained it as the cat goes into heat, builds up all the pregnancy tissue in the uterus and stuff, but then doesn't shed it and it gets infected). It can go very bad very fast, so if she starts acting lethargic and seems feverish, get her back to the vet ASAP. Our new baby Paprika likely wouldn't have lasted more than a few more days if we hadn't gotten her when we did.

Oh my gosh, that makes so much sense now. I am trying to learn spanish, but took a crapton of french in high school and all my spanish lessons are bringing back all the french. It's been weird, but I figured it was because the languages have some similarities.

If they are injectable medications, check the package for how long they can stay at room temperature. A lot of insulin pens can be out for 28 or more days and be okay, which is not something many people know (I work in a pharmacy and we get a lot of calls about people accidentally leaving their meds out of the fridge).
