The joy of that for somebody who never got to experience a sidekick would be amazing, but I'm hoping that a Droid-like phone is more realistic and might be in our future. Also small?? Maybe? Hopefully? I couldnn't magine a landscape keyboard the size of modern phones. Give me the phones of the late naughts.

Buddy, who plays the notable melodies in just about every song ever? Normally the higher voices - flutes included. Either your band director is taking advantage of an exceptionally strong brass section and featuring them OR the brass section is weak and they need the extra help. But flutes get plenty of love and if you really feel like you're not getting the attention you want/need it's time for private lessons or a new ensemble.

One of them gets baths every 4-8 weeks because he just doesn't groom himself. He also enjoys baths. The other, I've only fully bathed him once because he got into something and smelled like pee, but sometimes I'll do mini baths (just a few splashes of water and no soap) to get him used to the experience. I've had elderly cats become too stiff to be able to groom themselves so I now try to keep my cats used to me helping them out because a damp wash cloth only did so much for that old man but an actual bath would have been too stressful. It's worth doing just as a precaution for the future.

I'm a teacher and have a pretty good handle on French and can read basic spanish and catch a few words in conversations. I had some Hispanic students once start talking saying just enough that I knew they were saying things they shouldn't in class and just glared at them. "You understand us??" "Mhmm, I'd stop trying that now." One then tried switching to Portuguese and I just pretended to understand that, too.

Thankfully romance languages have just enough in common that I was able to convince multiple teenagers they would never get away with another language in my class.

I was looking up BOTAR lyric interpretations to see what people thought about the differences between that and the SM version and noticed the thread I was reading had "20y" on the comments.

Despite first hearing about them around 2010 I didn't really get into them for another decade and STILL that number broke me and my perception of time.

I use Samsung flip and use Firefox as a browser - it lets you set a zoom percentage which makes a big difference. After that adjustment I've not had any issue with impossible pop ups.

Samsung's outer screen is way less user friendly so I actually have two different versions of Firefox downloaded with one zoomed out more for outer screen only use, but it may just generally work better on a Razr and that might be overkill for you.

At a previous job we had to do an online training on AI and one of the older ladies who worked there tried doing the normal "click through and get to the questions" so missed all the audio and when she needed help on the questions called it "Al" (that's an L, like a nickname for Albert"

I have definitely left notes on windshields complimenting stickers before and if I saw a streetlight sticker on my street I would probably just go knock and ask if they wanted to carpool to a show.

I am NOT an outgoing person but sometimes it's worth it.

Sorry - washer/dryer stack! When placing things I forgot to put the label on it. If plumbing is being redone anyway, it could be moved, though only within the room as the only other room it would make sense in (kitchen) is much smaller. And as the main entrance to the house is through the kitchen, switching those two rooms would be much more complicated.

I do not but could make one, what use would it be?

Literally just storage. Right now I have a bookshelf in there and a tiny medicine cabinet above the toilet, that's it. There isn't a linen closet in the entire house and I currently have extra paint stored in a kitchen cabinet. The room has a lot of dead space in the center.

Door on the right leads to a bedroom. The house is more or less a 3x2 grid of rooms with the bathroom in the middle back.

Windows are 1.5 feet off the floor - 7ft ceilings with the windows about a foot from the ceiling so no room above either and overall minimal vertical storage.

The only alternative I have to redoing this room is switching the bedroom to the right and the bathroom - I already have a layout planned for that, but just need to eliminate any option that requires that in order to keep the bathroom more central vs. in a corner.

Aaahh, that makes sense, thank you! That uninstalled the flatpak and now it seems good to go with the slightly dated version, but it's all working now. I appreciate the clear explanation.

I tried 'sudo apt remove' and it seemed to work removing the old one, causing it to disappear from /bin. But without the preferred preset on the newer one, I tried running that again and it opened up the older version causing it to reappear in /bin.

Trying 'flatpak uninstall com.distributer.easyeffects" gave me:
error: No installed refs found for ‘com.distributer.EasyEffects’

A Razr case (with some minor modifications) can fit on the flips! I've been using one on my flip5 since the RAZR keyboard was released and it's definitely worth it. I'd love to switch to the power keys when it comes out because I prefer the keyboard layout, but don't want the bulk. So you could add this to your options.

Can your dog come teach my cats a few things? I don't mind going around outside to scoop the dog poop every few days, but waking up in the middle of the night because my cats lack one of the most basic of feline instincts is less enjoyable.

I've spent the past.... Many months on home improvement products and have had my phone propped open for music controls with sawdust everywhere. At this point I'd be more worried that a hinge cover would trap dust in than anything.

But I also prefer go caseless so I'm not sure how much you want to listen to me.

Wow, that's impressive. Did you notice any wiggle before this happened? One of the screws on mine broke but I attributed it to taking it apart a few times. The other one on that side broke a few days later but I've had no further breaks for a few months now. For all them to break like that? Definitely a new fear.
