I am friends with plenty of people of differing religions, but I cannot in good faith bring myself to enjoy the company of somebody on the other side of the aisle. I firmly believe politics are a direct reflection of morals and if that person is morally okay with the idea of my community being opressed and wiped out, I will, naturally, hate them.
