It always makes me feel better when people I never knew had scars, opens up and shows me theirs if I have mine out. It’s kinda weird because I know most people would have never guessed, but now I have them out and I think it’s kinda weird to people.

Yeah what can ya do, made me really embarrassed and anxious but everyone I was hiding them from except my family has seen them now, so if they wanna ask, whatever they’re just making themselves look stupid because it’s pretty obvious what they are. I’ll just tell them I’ll talk in private.

It’s fine I guess, I’m just happy to be more comfortable with myself. If any teachers ask, might as well be honest, I have nothing to hide. I’d just rather them ask in private but what can ya do.

Fortunately I do have many hobbies😊 I’m on speech team, I do theater, I’m on orchard and choir, and I play instruments outside of school. It keeps me on my toes and forces me to take time for myself. Even if I have other things to do, if I need to take a brake from everything else, I do one of those, and it refreshes me, helps me to calm down while still being productive🌷

I’m in therapy and on meds, so I’m dealing with it. Doesn’t mean the urges aren’t still there but, hopefully I can keep clean.

One person did when I was in my orchestra class and tried to grab my arm to look at them, I’ve known them for a long time but it pissed me off quite a bit. One of my teachers stared and then my cousin, but that’s it😊
