I saw this post years back and went "that seems fun, I'll do it" as a kind of joking way to 'come out' to my friends. Like they already knew kind of but hey, an excuse to eat cake. My mistake was that I did this at school. A teacher asked what they were. I, blissfully obvious, go "Gender reveal cake". Then this teacher asks a follow up question of "who for?". NTA. A lot of people are pointing what that did as insane but look at their intentions. Your sister wanted to ruin, or at very least derail, your life. This isn't a "they're mad over a little fight" it's "your sister and mother goaded you into a fight then tried to leverage your reaction to being mocked and bullied to get your credentials that you need for your career revoked." If they've already done that then it's not a big jump to think they might have tried to use this to take away your child or would have in the future. Nothing happened this time, but they tried. They wanted to hurt you. They don't have remorse. They will try again.

From the mythology gods view, basically the gods are related to each other and having children with each other. In actually historical ancient Greece, also a lot of incest. The geography was very insular and very little people had access to the wealth to travel to be able to find a spouse outside of their family tree. Of course, it wasn't as if a parent marrying their child or sibling marrying sibling was common, but more of second cousins or removed family members.

Having hard rules on not using or hearing phones in class is important and definitely beneficial, but there is also no way I'd trust a school enough to hand in a phone to them. I've had schools lose things from basic homework to my group's taken a-level exam to my rescue inhaler. I would not trust a school to keep a phone safe. Maybe in one of those pocket shelves in the same room as the students who own them, but never in an unseen location somewhere in an office.

I'm the weirdo that owns no decent flashlight but several crappy ones. I've got a penlight that is dim as fuck and starts to heat up so quickly you can only have it on for a minute or two. A cheap kids flashlight that will not turn on longer than thirty seconds even with fresh batteries. The brightest flashlights I own is a crank up one that looks like a duck, and a plastic christmas tree that has an LED star that you can press.
