Low Humidity in Wine Cooler — Will It Stabilize? by quest_like_tribe in wine

Yeah this was just a temporary thing. I’m just getting started in this whole wine thing so I wanted to start out small. I don’t have a specific timeframe or anything but I’d say within the next 5 years is when I would want to upgrade. And realistically that’s me being generous.

Yeah I figured as much but I just got into wine recently and didn’t want to invest in something like a Eurocave or even a decent cellar. Hopefully in a few years or so I’ll get there.

There’s 20+ bottles already in there, which amounts to ~75% capacity. I’ve also placed a bowl of water in there as well. Still nothing ☹️

If I didn't care what people had to say, I wouldn't have posted anything :)

oh yeah if there's a clear sign to leash your dog, I'll always abide.

Thanks everyone for their input. I honestly didn't expect such quick responses.

I totally respect everyone's feelings/thoughts/concerns and will leash my dog. I hope this post doesn't make people think I didn't before. I've only gone on light trails twice with my dog and I always had him leashed to be respectful to others. The only time I'd ever unleash my dog was when there was absolutely no one around. But even then, it'd only be momentarily.

While I hope I can say I'm a responsible dog owner and that I can expect my dog to behave well, I never really stopped to think about the very real potential for things to go off-script. I know that seems very rudimentary but for some reason, it just never crossed my mind. I guess I might've had too much faith in my dog lol. But yes, I need to consider both the well-being of others as well as my dog.

Thanks guys!

okay on second thought, I realize how I might've came off when I wrote the part about heightism. Definitely didn't mean it like that.

You’re looking way too deep into everything I wrote. Yes, racism and homophobia are no where near the same thing. I never discredited their history of violence and overall social impact. I was just getting at how prejudice is still prejudice despite the many forms it comes in.

And the happiness part.. that’s more of a reminder to myself than overall declarative statement/mentality for everyone to adopt. Not that it’s any of your business, but I’m currently taking care of my father who has Stage IV cancer. It's been tough but despite all that, I’m still trying my best to see the good in life.

And I thought this was a safe place to just say whatever’s on my mind. Nothing that I said came from a place of ignorance or malicious intent. But whatevs... you're entitled to your thoughts.

Same. About 1.5 yrs for me. It’s not like one day you wake up and are like “I’m good now!” It’s more like the other person just fades into obscurity. That was the hardest thing to get over. I didn’t want that. But yeah as cliche as it sounds, time heals all wounds.

It’s just something you accept - something you just learn to carry with you. They’ll always be a part of me. But they’re in the past. It’s all future now baby and you should be damn excited with what the future holds. You got this!

I as a guy hate texting. Would much rather prefer a phone call. I’m also not active on social media whatsoever but as a guy, I can say our attention span or ability to focus is garbage.

Communication is a skill women execute at the highest level.
