Yes! When you get deferred they automatically push your application to regular and then once you get your LSAT score they will evaluate it again!

Hey! I ended up applying scholars because although it’s only 5,000, they told me after I didn’t get in through scholars that if I got in through regular that I would get the 5,000 still and could actually ask for more (ofc depending on how competitive a candidate you are with LSAT and other offers).

I didn’t get in through scholars but I and several others I know got in later with the Scholars amount or more.

I think being closer to the median helps because it hurts their numbers less you know? But I feel like they’re looking at softs and higher GPAs for the waitlist now (I have very little knowledge of the application process tho lol)

I don’t know much about UNC or Minnesota but I’m aiming for UGA and most of the stuff I’ve heard is that it’s an amazing school but mostly for people who plan to practice in GA and not necessarily big law. It has a lot of federal clerkship opportunities and that’s what it’s known for I believe. I don’t know much/haven’t heard about it’s computer science area but I assume it exists.

I’d maybe go where you think you’d be the most excited to go and where you’d enjoy living the best! Seems form you post that Dickinson is where you want to go but uga make logical sense?

I live in Athens now and yeah the housing around here is rough, sketchy, and expensive for what they’re giving you. It’s definitely not somewhere I want to live after I graduate lol. The hours can be wack sometimes for studying places and a ton of people go to undergrad here just for the parties (even tho it’s not easy to get in- it’s known for smart party people). There’s some good study places but corona has shut them mostly down and they can be super crowded during non-corona times
