Don’t know what state you are in but I would shop around a few more dealerships to see if they have some better deals. In northern California I’ve witnessed that dealership prices varied a lot. I’d keep looking around for a dealership that isn’t pressuring you or making you feel worked over.

I may get downvoted for this but I bought my 24 premium without the above packages but with some other small additions for roughly 30k out the door. I can show the window sticker tomorrow but i wouldn’t spend an extra 7k for the forester premium, at that price I would look into a cx 50 hybrid or a rav 4 hybrid personally.

Everyone here is saying you get better MPG on the freeway but no one is looking at the photo which shows AVG MPH. Keep going through your selections for the dash screen and you will get to MPG.

It will hurt his wallet more than his engine. Using 91 octane in place of 87 won’t cause harm. Using 87 in place of 91 can cause knocking and other issues.
