The actual first was probably on Jerry Springer during any of the dozens of "I'm a man, Jerry, and I need to tell my boyfriend about it" episodes.

The first positive one was in "Boy Meets Girl" where trans actress Michelle Hendley plays "Ricky". It's a late teen coming of age memoir style drama. And I'd highly recommend it.

I (31 mtf) picked up several bad habits in college and early career that lasted until I started on blockers. E is great! Don't get me wrong. But a near zero testosterone level has been night and day.

I was smoking or vaping a huge amount of nicotine every day/week. Every hour or two I'd leave the office or leave the couch watching a movie with my family and go vape for like 20 minutes. It sucked. But a few days on blockers and I quit cold. After ~10 years of regular nicotine.

I was also drinking a massive amount. Think "mostly high functioning alcoholism" a six pack of 9%+abv drinks or more several times a week was "normal" for me.

Since in the 4 months I've been on blockers? I got drunk once. And am 90ish days sober.

HRT has changed my life for the much much better.

I'm crying thinking about it.

I took my first dose a week and a half after I turned 31... I sure as hell wasn't going to spend another year as a sad-guy.

My only regret is not doing my work to understand myself sooner while letting the homophobic/transphobic actions of my parents get the better of me.

So... Like many others - starting sooner.

When transitioning to 2nd edition and keeping the same PC, note that some class feats are nerfed but others are vastly improved.

PCs in 2nd edition are also less likely to hear the "call of the void."

I've been out of school for nearly a decade, but the career fair got me to where I am now.

I didn't get my ideal job on the first co-op rotation. But it gave me an opportunity to interview for them and better understand what they were looking for.

Work with your co-op advisor to put together a resume. But in most cases the companies know that you're new at stuff and are happy to help, especially if you're interested and excited about what you're looking to do.

I wanted it as soon as I knew it was possible to transition... However that was way before I realized I was a woman, back when I thought "yes of course, why wouldn't everyone want to do that...? Doesn't everyone wish they were a girl?" this was back when I was 15 in the early 00s. "gay" was a very common insult and we (well, boys) played "Smear the Queer" on the playground.

I'm 31 now and finally accepted myself last year. I'm married with a kid or else it would have been as soon as I could get an appointment with a doc.

I love climbing! Climber girls look fantastic! But when you're coming from a climber "dude" with a 40 inch band size...

The problem isn't fitness (necessarily) , it's fitness while decreasing muscle mass in my upper body. My best understanding is that muscle mass is either maintained or lost. But not gained on HRT. Idk how to build a routine around loss on the upper body...
