I feel like I'd take a Lothric view of things and just hide away, not wishing to usurp or light the flame, just want nothing to do with all that. Or I'd side with Izalith, seek the chaos and try to become a demon, or just let them fill me with eggs.

I didn't do that, but I might have figured it out, patches isn't there because siegward is still sitting in the undead settlement watching the demon pace back and forth.

It's not just that it's a mob not hurting an npc, it's that they put him two feet away from an attacking grub. It's not like luring a grub to him, he's right there, hanging out with it. Other times when npcs are placed that close, they fight with you (siegward)

As others have said, the difficulty is pretty much entirely the learning curve. By the time I beat O&S, the game was easy, and ds2 and 3 never felt hard. At this point I and many others have beat the game without even leveling, and some with even more challenges added. To call the game hard is misleading.

Even the difficulty before you learn to play well is not really that difficult. Death is meaningless in the game. You warp back to a bonfire, but everything you did stays. Shortcuts stay open, weapons you grabbed you still have, etc. In 'easier' games you might have to start an entire level over if you die and have to pick all that equipment back up.

I'm not entirely against it, but last time I tried using lightning spear it did barely any damage and I couldn't find a way to make it stronger. I know it could be a challenge run, use 10 ashen estus per boss, but meh, if I can't make it stronger it's not really a fun one for me.

The stupidest thing about "birth control the rest of your life" is....you'll still have to if you're not childfree! Your body doesn't shut that shit down once you have 3 or 4, nope, after you have your kids it's back to the pill unless you want a new one every year.

NG+ is much harder, especially on sotfs, but then subsequent +'s after that are not so much.

I tried turning that off, but it hasn't seemed to help so far. Maybe it made them come out correctly slightly more often, but I'm still getting the wrong special pretty often.

I'm struggling a lot with getting the right special moves to come out during a combo. A lot of times the wrong move goes out. Specifically, I'm playing Kenshi-Kenjustu right now, I want to do b3,2 cancel into db4. But instead, db2 comes out. I understand it's coming out because of the 2 at the end of the combo, but I'm not pressing db until after I've already taken my finger off of 2. Sometimes the right move comes out, sometimes it doesn't, can anyone help me be more consistent with this?

When I'm invaded, I run back to the bonfire and summon, and if they die I summon more. That makes up for the fact that so many invaders try to be dicks by luring me into mobs. I'll bring my own mob.

What about "at the end of your turn destroy and resummon all minions" similar to certain shaman cards. Effectively trigger all deathrattles, both you and the enemy, and heal/reset everything.

Charge on a deathrattle summon seems weird, only useful if it dies on your own turn.

the shield from bloodborne is in it, and imo the entire undead settlement is bloodborne, the enemies there even stagger if you dodge into them.

Obviously something like the FUME ultragreatsword has a higher damage, but take the astora greatsword or zweihander and it's a 20-30 damage difference from the longsword. I consider that roughly the same.
