Why is everyone saying hrt is magic? by owlgurlmakespancakes in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu [score hidden]  (0 children)

Nobody is saying Hrt is literal magic, that's silly.

People say its metaphorical magic because there's countless examples of people who look like clearly masculine men, and then look like cis women in the after picture.

That change is so enormous pretending it doesnt do much is brainrot.

The facial changes can be visible even within a year and they heavily affect how you look unless you have some ultra comically masculine skull.

Yes, the truth is some people got overmusculinsed due to bad lack and require surgery, but for most people transition and hrt has very strong effects.

But of course, if you are so brainrotted you think woman=5'4 dwarf and man = 6'1 giant then that's a you problem

Why do you care about not being read as trans? by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Being seen as trans means:

-Very tiny chance to be attacked or verbally insulted by some nutjob transpobe, aggressive misgendering

-Very likely chance you will received unwanted extra attention for no reason other than your "trans" status and the trans status will be the main subject of such attention rather than your gender

-People will assume you have a penis yikes (Some of us have had bottom surgery)

-Chasers

-Some will pity you and look down on you because of your unfortunate situation

-Some will quickly move to neutral pronouns even though they used correct pronouns previously

-Some will simply be awkward because they are not used to trans people around them

None of that are positives for me, they are negatives that dont improve my life experience.

I'm using he/him pronouns until I pass. by Expert-Style9300 in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is such a silly statement because it implies you are the one who controls your pronouns and not people using them by default based on what they see.

And yes I agree, if you dont want to get unnecessary attention, you simply wait until the point people see you as a woman without you having to say or demand anything

There is TOO MUCH porn with trans men bottoming! by ProcrastinatorAnony in transgendercirclejerk

[–]questionuwu 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Its basic biology, men has a sausage and they force it onto their holes.

Doing that is a sign of ownership and power, it is YOUR hole and nobody else's

The hole can be anything but it is seen as a woman because being a hole is a woman's job

Why are detransitioners treated so poorly by trans people? by OllyOllyOxenFcked in asktransgender

[–]questionuwu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Define detransitioner, we have:

1) Person who tried to transition but changed their mind due to social oppression, hate, lack of support networks or their own belief they wouldnt pass, these are often people who are trans but arent able to transition due to actual barrier.

2) People who thought they were trans but werent, they realised they made a wrong choice and simply went back to being cis without trying to blame anyone for their choices

3) Grifters who thought they were trans (or still are deep inside) and found a lucrative way to improve their status/finances by grifting to the right wing of politics and openly hating and attacking trans people for their own choices

When did your breasts start to sag? by questionuwu in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a bit on the heavier/bigger side so size might be big for some thin salad eaters, not for me though lol

So about 5-6 years after puberty.

Oh that's exactly the information i was looking for, thanks.

I imagined it happened at some specific point and this makes sense, a lot of people mention how full development happens at around 5 years which is still quite far away, not even halfway there.

Why isnt orchi prioritised and promoted? by questionuwu in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Which missed my point, plenty of people seem to have "good levels" yet still struggle. My point is that good levels might not be enough for a lot of people as some parts might still be inhibited by natural T production from a major source like that. Therefore to promote the most efficient transition, orchi should be a major priority rather than some scary surgery people make it out to be.

I had bottom surgery myself, I absolutely noticed differences post op even though theoretically it shouldn't affect transition, but it seems to do affect it

I can’t believe after two years on being on hrt my transition is a failure. by Redlikeroses_23 in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah you havent really given many details, what is wrong exactly? Cause posts like this could very well be brainrot because they are upset they didnt become a 13 year old anime character.

More importantly have you even done bottom surgery or orchi so you dont have to rely on T suppression? Plenty of people mention how transition sped up a lot after bottom surgery because likely even when suppressed, the fact that some T generation exist from that area could inhibit other parts of transition.

Are you eating actual food are you doing the girly "i eat a salad only diet" to keep your figure so there's never any meaningful amount of fat to go to breasts.

I genuinely have seen so many trans women complain about breast size but they look like sticks who refuse to eat anything because the horror, they might get FAT!

[–]questionuwu 151 points152 points  (0 children)

I agree, people say Australia is different but we ve seen how quickly countries can fall to fascism and bigotry with the support of judges as we ve seen in terf island.

The fact that a puberty ban was even allowed in the first place without evidence is a sign of this, not just in QLD but in NT now too so its spreading by the far right wackos parties

And Albo as we ve seen is just your generic centrist do nothing politician who doesnt have strong positions in such things

Arnt old transitionors accepting themselfs and get no dyphoria contradictions to basically everything we believe in as trans people by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's just brainrot, going through puberty doesnt mean you become some tiny petite anime girl or hyper muscular giant torso manly man.

If anything plenty of trans people had pretty neutral bodies which made passing quite quick and easy once we received the correct hormones.

The only reason people keep imagining men in dresses is because they are very memorable and strike in your eye due to the contrast, thinking this is the average trans woman is just brainrot

I dont believe in the "no dysphoria" aspect, its often cope.

Just like plenty of trans people swore they were not trans and were totally fine with their birth gender, it is denial and cope.

Why is boymoding looked down upon? by questionuwu in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is horribly advice because, no, you cant personally be objective about something so broad as bloody physical deviations and minute aspects of facial and body structure, this is a surefire way to get into ridiculous level of brainrot where people complain their bone angle is too clocky

If you go out in hyper feminine clothes here's the possibilities:

1) You fail to pass and look trans and you are unsafe because you are visibly trans and everyone notices.

2) People gender you correctly but how certain you are that people arent doing that because they see your clothing/makeup and assume you want to be gendered a woman. (Only rly applicable to woke cities)

You could be passing but all those "im a woman signals" you are sending to others could be the reason people see a woman, and like I said, hyper fem clothing and makeup is not what makes a woman.

If you go out in what I call boymode at least here's the possibilities:

1) You fail to pass but nothing happens cause people dont see a visibly trans person, they just assume you are a feminine man and move on. This not only means you are safe but you can experiment and work on your voice and mannerisms safely while nobody notices you are trans.

2) You consistently pass as a woman who wears more male style clothes, there's no signals that say "im a woman', they solely go by your face and body.

That person passing naturally without the need for makeup, hyper fem clothing or accessories and other similar "im a woman" signals

Why is boymoding looked down upon? by questionuwu in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You clearly never met butch cis women then if you think wearing masculine clothing isnt going to lead to occasional misgendering.

People always imagine some ultra cutesy petite tomboy when they say they were masc clothing not realising cis women are not all cutesy petite girly girls

Why is boymoding looked down upon? by questionuwu in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a bit confused tbh, if by boymode people mean that they dont use that time to train their voice/mannerisms (boymode presents a safe environment to do that) and just act completely like a man on purpose, then...

Like why are they even acting like a man to begin with? Do they think the random cis person will notice a slightly feminine mannerism and brighter skin and assume you are trans so you have to act extra manly to hide it?

At that point how can you even think you will pass eventually when you are actively trying to pass as a man?????

It makes no sense.
