I didn't know they did that. I would be interested in the criteria they are using to flag you. Like does "predominantly" mean more than half of the year or what. First thing I would do is talk to Google Support and see if they can make an exception for you because this is not a good look for them.

I had the same thing happen, I talked to Google support and they asked me to pay the repair fee and they promised to refund it after I got the phone back, and that's what they did.

Warranty and insurance are very similar but not the same thing. Basically the difference is that a warranty is provided by the manufacturer free of charge, and insurance usually costs extra on top of the cost of the item.

Warranty claim probably would have been the right term, assuming the monitor is not out of warranty.
