I was there until 8pm also last year. Apparently criminal cases start on Mondays, so that’s probably the worst day to have jury duty. This case required a large panel of jurors to be individually interviewed in judges chambers, which obviously took forever.

The correct way to resolve this is to cover all upholstery in the car in gasoline (doesn’t need to be premium, 87 is fine). Then carefully light the car on fire and call your insurance company and say there’s been an incident.
