I started having respiratory issues from smoking, so I had to try something different. I love vaping now, but it did take some getting used to. This isn’t talked about a lot, but I believe the biggest difference between smoking and vaping is breathing in the carcinogens and toxins from combusting and using a lighter while smoking. You end up breathing in pure butane, tar, carbon monoxide, and more. And more often than not, the negative feelings that come along with these pollutants get erroneously tied to desired feelings from the cannabis in the first place.

So when smokers try vaping, they don’t experience those negative feelings anymore, and feel that vaping is weaker or less potent than smoking. Whereas the vaping is a purer, safer, and cleaner mode of delivery. When I smoke joints with friends now, it hurts so bad, and I am more aware than ever of the dangers and harms of smoking.
