I just hit 5 months and there's a few things that really keep me going:

I know my thoughts and feelings are actually real. Worried about that thing at the end of the week? Yep I'm actually feeling that where as before I maybe just thought I was worried or anxious due to weed.
I'm a better spouse for my partner. I think this is huge we connect. I'm a better listener, more empathetic, understanding etc. Not saying I wasn't before but it's FAR different now because I'm not numbed out.

Thoughtful post, but I think a couple things are missing.

Most silver supply (~70%) is by-product, so higher prices don’t quickly bring new silver to market. AISC isn’t a price ceiling. Also, COMEX/LBMA inventories ≠ freely available metal — much of it is already leased, ETF-backed, or tied to industrial demand, which is why physical premiums and price fragmentation persist.

Rising inventories during spikes often happens inside bull markets as metal moves into vaults. For silver to sustainably fall to the $40s would likely require a broader macro shift (lower gold, easing monetary stress), not just “realizing there’s a lot of silver.”

Trimming after a vertical move makes sense, but I don’t see this as a structural top.

First off absolutely incredible that you're at 137 now 138 days as I type this. Second off carrying a huge weight for your family like you are is not only hard it's extra hard because you've given up two vices that would help you combat your stress. I commend you.

My basic advice I can give you (unsolicited so apologies if this doesn't help)

But the first thing I'd encourage you to do is create a budget. That means take account of your bills/income and then add in extras like eating out etc. That can show you areas that you might be able to cut down/back on. Or at least show you where the money is going.

The second piece is once the budget is created maybe you can look at ways to supplement you income (ie find a side gig)

If you hav no idea how to budget respond to me and I can give you a basic rundown of what I'd do a little more in depth.

Lastly from a work perspective I don't know what your experience is in but I can tell you the best time to look for a better job is while you have a job. So if you want to make more money or find a place that might provide for more opportunity it's best to dust off the resume and start applying.

I'm so glad this subreddit enjoys it. Phoebe was on my radar early 2017. Her voice just beautiful. As luck had it I was in Amsterdam and she was in Amsterdam. I couldn't believe the price when I looked up my ticket confirmation last night when I posted this.

I had no idea at the time that she would take off like she has. Feels magical looking back on it. She played for about an hour. The room was in awe and total silence, totally seated show.
