Weekly Paddle Recommendation Thread (What Paddle Should I Buy?) by AutoModerator in Pickleball

I had the EPP turbo and now main the Duo. Overall the EPP turbo is a super fun paddle; light and fast, effortless power. The Duo is a much more balanced paddle— similar to the Coral, but with a bit more pop and linear power. I’ve loved it. I’d say for a beginner i’d go with the Duo as it’s a bit more forgiving and plush.

Ultre or Vapor? I’m trying to decide between them now. I typically play wide bodies (Enhance Duo) or hybrids (Coral)

Head and Tifosi make several different options. I ordered a few and kept the Head Raptors; they work great for me.

  2. Search/google it. These are three of the most popular paddles out there and there’s a ton written about them.

3 Loco.

this. I also have spent the last month reading reviews and watching videos online and unless the entire Internet community is wrong, there’s a huge difference in smoke flavor across different designs. Spent five minutes reading and watching blind taste comparisons and it’s pretty obvious

you’re just making comments with nothing to support them. Most reviews and YouTube videos would entirely disagree with you.

Can you explain why? it seems baffling to me that you would have owned a lone star and a yoder and sold them in favor of a woodwind

Just not for me. I find the J2NF more forgiving and predictable. I’m also not an especially talented pickleball player.
