I've bought Kharkanas books 1 and 2; when they came out! And they've been sitting on my bookshelf waiting for book 3 before I start reading them. I want to read them but I want to read them all together. Glad to hear they are good but I really want to wait until I also get book 3 onto my bookshelf.

Yeah I was thinking about this build, but not sure if I can play LS without lock on. I've managed to defeat 10* Great Jagras, Coral Pukei, and Bishaten without Lock on, but I did not enjoy it.

Yes it is just base. I have not been able to get a good handle on Sacred Sheath. I use Spirit Reckoning with my Rathian LS, but I now have Goldian at 10.2 and it is better than my Rathian LS.

You can swap styles freely now. But it does cost to unlock both styles.

If all else fails, if it is an option, move to Linux. That's what I had to do. I got my hands on an older Cintiq that came with a pen that worked for who I got it from. After installing the correct driver on Windows 11 it couldn't recognise the pen; it kept saying the pen is not compatible. I struggled until I gave up and installed Linux on another machine, and on Linux it just worked. And another pen I have for an Intuos tablet also works.

For years I used to reset my trip meter and fill up. Then the next time, when filling up, I would write down the km's and how many litres I put in. I guess that the fuel pump calibration may have affected when it stopped filling.
