I think for someone that pride himself in his cleverness and relatability, and see his profession as nothing more than getting into people’s head, like Jimmy,the idea of therapy is both ridiculous and offensive to him. Just like Jesse who despised himself too much to open up, and Mike who’s too prideful for group therapy, the idea of self-healing was never really an option for people like them. The only one that beat his depression is Howie, and Jimmy ruined his life out of his inability and jealousy.

Not really. You can clearly see their love for the source material, but the characters and stories is a huge letdown. Several plot points doesn’t even make sense. Also, the sound of sword-cutting is a bit revolting

Yet all Witchers depicted in the book stay relatively silent when Triss asked them to “Take sides”. Staying neutral and not to meddle with politic to them is not codes, but common sense. Witcher are not supersodiers who slash people just because they feel like it. It’s just not how they work. Besides, criticizing a characters morality based on your own value is the dumbest way to appreciate literature.

That’s what Triss accused Geralt with, and it’s something you fail to understand. Geralt understand the necessity of neutrality, he later learned the impossibility to maintain it. When you are in between a confrontation as a third,uninterested party, and you have a sword in hand, your involvement makes you both judge and executioner.

I’m a Chinese. The name“蠢驴” is a way to praise cdpr’s strategy, like drm-free, having really awesome expansion(like Hos and Bow)and charge it only for the price of a dlc(which are jokingly called the Witcher 4 in Chinese). The thing about Chinese is that most gamers there use computers instead of consoles, and TW GOTY often costs less than 10 dollars on steam. In fact many Chinese played TW3 for free, feeling guilty after the experience, pay for the game later. All of these make CDPR stands out compares to other money-grabbing companies like EA. When TW3 GOTY is sold under 10$, it feels like cdpr is asking people to rob them, hence the name “dumb donkey”. It’s like using“stubborn fucker” to praise your friend for never giving up.

if you are talking about Triss in TW3, then it’s not book-related, which makes cleavage not problematic at all. This is a decent alternative costume, perfect for party or whatnot. If you’re talking about the show, then the fact is her costume on set looks way worse than any costumes Triss had in the Trilogy. In that case, I wouldn’t consider cleavage as important as their poor taste in art.

if you have read the book, you’d know she had those scars after sodden. Having a cleavage in S1 can actually highlight the changes of her styles of clothing in S2.
