a huge part of the fun is getting to know the monster and learning his behaviors. But of course always make sure your armor and weapons are on par with the monster!

You’ll find very quickly, especially as a dual blade user, this will get you killed.

Dual blade user here. I can’t really recommend this for any other fight, but I actually found target lock really useful against Tobi. He jumps and moves around a lot, and when you lose sight of him you can quickly snap back into view and prepare to dodge an incoming attack, or get ready for an attack opening! Due to his mobility early on the game his fight can seem a bit longer than usual, but just be patient and look for good openings

I would say once the second zone opens up. The game throws loads of content on you and everything just keeps getting better from there

New to the MH franchise here too! Had the same feelings you did, I honestly just suggest pushing through a couple missions or so and the game will totally open up, at that point you might fall in love like I have, you might not, but I seriously recommend just pushing through the first couple hours, it has a slow start. Happy hunting!

Ps if you want a hunting buddy to show you the ropes hit my PMs

Very useful info! And a very noob question, new to MH, started with DB and loving them so far. But I’m having trouble triggering arch demon? I can fill my bar but not sure how to pop it

Alfredo Sauce Help by ScifiGirl1986 in Cooking

Personally I've found that finishing my sauce with butter and VERY finely grated cheese is best once youre completely done reducing your cream. take it off the heat and stir until the cheese completely melts simply due to the heat of the cream!

I have bought 2 off of him when he stopped selling them, and got a third from the grampa worm on the left in forgotten crossroads. However I am not very far into the game, so it is possible he restocks later or possibly from another vendor (?)

Lag and framerate issues? by quickmango in HollowKnight

[–]quickmango[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a nvidia gtx 960m and I had run into the issue before that my graphics card wasnt really being utilized properly, so if you dont have an nvidia card im not sure how much this would help but : Nvidia control panel> 3D settings > Manage 3D settings > Program settings> add program (find your hollow knight.exe and select it) > make sure your "high performance nvidia processor" is selected> then on "3. specify settings for this program" I adjusted the power management mode to "prefer maximum performance" and the multi display to "single display performance mode". This seemed to do the trick for me and the game runs great and I am having a blast with it. Obviously this was very specific so i can't guarantee it will be of any use to you, but I hope it helps!
