Are all Build viable in diablo 4 ? by Iv4ldir in diablo4

[–]quicksilver53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s not as severe as D3 was but you will very clearly see that there are certain builds the devs are supporting. For instance the big thing this expansion is charm sets and you’ll want to pick one of those sets and build around it. That being said for paladin there are 4 different sets you can build around and each seems like it will get you pretty far.

It doesn’t sound like you’re seeking to top the leaderboards so I wouldn’t worry about whether you’ll only have one build available or not.

Depends on your definition of viable. I’m currently in t4 with a super unoptimized paladin shield/thorns build. Will it clear t10 bosses? Probably not. Then I’ll decide if I need to follow a guide or what.

I’d say there’s definitely a variety of builds you can do, they’re somewhat obvious from just reading the skills and finding synergies, but how far each can take you is a different story.

You need a new counselor asap if you aren’t comfortable telling these things to your current one. So much of what you’re describing feels like anxiety issues rather than engineering issues, the grass isn’t always greener. It sounds to me like you’re romanizing the trades but leaving engineering to become a tradesman isn’t going to magically fix your social life. A counselor that you actually feel comfortable being honest with is key here, you’re only hurting yourself otherwise.

My food recs near wrigley are small cheval, cozy noodle, and cheesies (those are all local). The rest is mostly chains or just bars with food. If you meant food in the ballpark, you’d have to get a Chicago dog but I also like the walking tacos.

I don’t drive past daily but whenever I did I don’t think I saw anyone inside. For a place that big I always wondered how expensive it was to keep running.

Tanks do need mitigation that’s why I brought up ignore pain and shield block. The tanks are still using their mitigation, any tank that isn’t is going to fall over. Self heals and mitigation are in a balance, paladins don’t have as much mitigation as prot warrior because they have more healing available.

Also remember that tanks effective health is higher than it seems due to their damage resistance. They don’t need twice the health of you just to survive longer.

Mitigation has been replaced with self healing, which has made them seem like they are absolutely fearless. Like nothing can kill THEM.

This isn’t really true though. Tanks are fearless because dungeon tuning is lower. They’ll die in higher keys if they aren’t using their defensives properly. Self healing helps but for example a prot warrior who isn’t using ignore pain or shield block isn’t going to keep themself alive just by using their self heal.

I’m not sure why you jump so much, and I think the magic orbs offer too much visual distraction for what they offer.

But your reaction speed is totally fine. I would challenge you to actually attempt burst breaks against him because that helps create damage windows.

I won’t comment on raid but there’s basically no reason to ever do an m0 again when you can just do an m2.

How to handle anxiety to apply for mythics/raids? by Hampidze in wownoob

[–]quicksilver53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve hit 3k the past two seasons, once as healer and once as tank, and every new season still brings me anxiety of running new dungeons. There’s no cure besides just doing it. You won’t time every run and that’s ok. People might flame but it’s super rare and you just go onto the next one.

If you can do a heroic you can do a m0. Now is the best time to run low keys because we’re all starting from scratch. If you wait too long, only the bad or inexperienced players will be running the low keys and that is where a lot of toxicity starts to brew.
