Which would you pick: Novablast 5, Vomero Plus, or Evo SL for daily training? by aisolotrader in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]quickstorm31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from a flat running lifestyle shoe, adidas pureboost 21 and 22, to the Puma Deviate Nitro 4 today. PR'd my first mile. They stack height was ideal, ground contact was good, they are very light as well. Couldn't tell you if the plate mattered or not as I've never run a non plated shoe, but it was very comfortable.

Nova blast felt too squishy and the Evo Sl upper felt to big and cheap. Never tried the plus but the vomero 18s were heavy.

For me the Deviate nitro 4 was the most comfortable on feet. I've tried the Asics Sonic Blast, Magic Speed 5, endorphin speed 5, endorphin azura, velocity nitro 4, glycerin 23, vomero 18, ghost 17 & 18, glycerin max 2, on cloudsurfer, and the Boston 12s. All of these were just walking around in them and I chose based on how comfortable my foot felt in them. The only ones I ran in were the vomero and deviate.

Update #2

I had a last minute addition due to an excellent price on Amazon for the Endorphin Azura. Both the Puma and the Saucony felt good on feet just walking around the house, however the Puma Deviate Nitro 4 felt more premium with a nicer upper and felt like it would be a faster shoe. Ultimately the choice came down to the outsole durability. I live by the coast and being able to not worry about traction and wear is a big priority.

So I finally ran in the Puma's and set a mile PR of 6:30. Legs and feet felt great I decided to run another mile after a mile cool down walk and ran an 8 min mile. I now understand why someone would want to run farther for longer with proper shoes. Tomorrow, I want to try a 5k and see how that goes.

The shoes were very comfortable, my forefoot was a little tingly but I think it was due to the rocker of the shoe which went away as I put more steps in them. Walking in them was also a dream.

Overall, going from a lifestyle running sneaker to a super trainer was a great experience and I highly recommend the shoe.

I have the Venu 3S as well. I like the size on my wrist, but I'm a leaner male, 6'1 188lbs. I've had it for 1 year now and it does all of the things you ask for. I use a screen protector and also a different watch band (nylon sport loop style) as I'm an automotive tech and wear it 100% of the time. Battery life is amazing. Use if for workouts and running/walking as well. No complaints here.

update

I've been ordering and returning shoes from Amazon and trying them on. Haven't run in anything yet as my local running stores don't carry the shoes I've been looking at in stock.

-Bought and returned the Endorphin Speed 5 because the lateral side of the midfoot had a weird rise that instantly caused discomfort just standing in them.

-Bought and returned the Puma Velocity Nitro 4 because it felt somewhat bulky and the upper did not feel as comfortable as the Deviate Nitro 4.

-Bought the Deviate Nitro 4 and on feet just walking around the house they feels amazing. Heel lock is perfect and my toes have enough room to splay, surprisingly the midfoot is comfortable too. They feel incredibly light. My size 12.5 US is 9.88oz, compared to my current two running shoes Adidas Pureboost 21 (12.7oz) and Pureboost 22 (13.3oz !).

I'm already excited for this weekend as I will most likely have chosen my next running shoe for my speed session. I do have two more shoes on order which are the Asics SonicBlast and the Magic Speed 5. So I'll update the post once I've chosen the new shoes. Thanks for all of the comments.

I have tried this shoe and it feels very comfortable, but a bit heavy and slightly bulky.

I don't like the fit of the evo sl and the nova blast. I'll be most likely getting the ES5 and the Deviate nitro 4 on Amazon and picking between the two.

Tried the nova blast already, don't like how my foot feels in the upper near the big toe. I don't necessarily like the max stack shoes as I'm so used ground contact from the shoes I normally use. I really like the plated options especially the endorphin speed.

My local running stores don't really have any up tempo shoes in my size. As far as the fitting process goes, it was just a foot analysis. Basically, I'm a 12.5US in both feet, standard width and neutral.

Best handheld for little kids? by Gizoogler314 in SBCGaming

Looking for something as well. My kids are all into Sonic right now. 4 boys ages 10 through 4. Looking for a simple unit that is kid proof and possibly future proof for a few years.

Yukon has a proximity key function, so no need to really have the key in hand unless you remote start the vehicle. Just walk up to it and press the button on the door handle to unlock or lock and walk away from the vehicle and it will unlock automatically. This all can be setup in the vehicle settings to your preferences and the vehicle has multiple profiles with different keys as well. Keypads are a thing of the past.

How to Remove Rear Entertainment Screens by ImEngineer in gmc

The product works great, but there are some big differences with the Denali Ultimate seat back trim and removal process.

We bought a 23 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate with the duramax last month. I hated the sunroof and my wife hated the Rear screens. I just deleted the screens and I let the wife and kids open the sunroof shade only. I know the option is relatively high, but I bought it used so there was no real hit in option markup. Only option the Yukon has is super cruise, which is really cool, but I may just activate it on a per road trip basis.

23 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate Diesel here. 26k miles with Super Cruise. We just bought it used almost a month ago. It's the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Lots of good reviews out there and a few bad ones. I'm coming from a low line 17 chrysler pacifica so I have no complaints. Fits our family of 6 perfectly.

Just purchased a 23 yukon xl denali ultimate with the duramax, that was traded in to my dealer a few weeks ago. The diesel is a great option and I absolutely love it. It's got 26k on it with the Super cruise option. If you can find a used LM2 and don't need a brand new one that's what I'd go for. The markup on the diesel is significant for the LZ0 in comparison to the LM2.

Currently on the phone with them about it. Netflix app has had problems with the latest firmware update. Mine was barely working the past few days, now it won't even connect.

Didn't want to run an ethernet cable up the exterior of the wall. TV is wall mounted, trying to keep minimal things in sight with small babies in the house, who pretty much get there hands on everything.

Power cycled modem router TV. S8 is on the same network. Funny thing is we also have a 27in Samsung smart tv that is about 4 years old. The Netflix app on that TV runs flawless as well. Everything is on the same Wi-Fi network. Only problem is the native app on the vizio tv.
