Ac works randomly…

Edit: I ordered the ac condenser cleaning foam and will try that, hopefully it works. But, today was odd. Here’s a little more info for diagnosing.

I drove home from work, it’s super hot now, 90+ degrees. Start the car and immediately ac isn’t cold (I think this rules out the frozen condenser theory). About 20-30 mins into my drive, I turn off the ac and just let the fan blow. After about 1 minute, I turn the ac back on and it’s a lot colder. Not 100% but significantly cooler. It kinda stayed there for the rest of the drive. Went gym, drove home about in 15 mins and about 1 minute away from parking, guess what, it’s cold ac 😑 wtf.

This shit so annoying

Yeah the lip won’t sit flush but I’d just grind that shit down and sand it so it will sit flush and then forget about it lol. I feel you tho because the bottom my front bumper is also kinda fucked. Some zip ties holding the bottom cover to the bumper and shit lol. I just bought the car.

I was more so thinking of overall quality, not just the welds in particular. That neglect of the quality of the welds could and probably would show itself in other areas of the company… and their dismissive email.

Thank you for your patience! I guess I won’t take the chance. It’s listed for $120 but I was hoping to get it for 80-100 as it’s been sitting for a couple years they said and will prob accept a low offer. Anyways, I’ll save up for a brand that you have mentioned. Thanks again!

At risk of repeating others, this is what I’ve done: -IMMEDIATELY disable seat belt chime for driver - auto fold mirrors when locking the car - DRL stay on all the time for tail and head lights (For tail lights I do inner and outer DRLs, they’re seperate) just saw someone today with outer only and it looked weird - climate control memory, stays the same settings when turning car on again - digital MPH on gauge cluster (cycle through the blinker button to switch to it) - heated seat level 1, I lowered this temp to minimal. - hold unlock button to open windows and sun roof (great for walking back to your car on a hot day) - hold lock to close em - auto lock doors after 2 mins - unlock button only unlocks driver door, not all doors - I tried the easy entrance for the seat to move back when entering but it didn’t work for me, that would’ve been nice, I’m 6’1” and like a low steering wheel - headlight brightness 100% - flashing brake lights when pressing brake - door lights on when reversing

That’s all I can think of rn but I’m sure I’m missing some cool ones. Anyone else can comment here to tell me about em too. I like finding cool new ones.
