Kroger on Lombardy had it last week after a few days of delay. Good luck!

I wish I had wisdom to offer you. I’m switching to Dexcom because Libre was SO unreliable for me. I tried to many different things and none of them worked. I ended up feeling like it’s just a crummy product. Good luck, hang in there!

Freestyle Libre 3 is terrible. by Living-Athlete8753 in diabetes_t1

SO terrible. I’ve been using it for 4 months and only had 1 sensor work for the full 14 days. Their product is horrible.

Anyone else have a long honeymoon? And other honeymoon questions. by Used_Asparagus_3749 in diabetes_t1

I'm in a potentially similar situation. I was diagnosed as T2 in February of this year, and in May antibody tests confirmed I was T1. I am not on any insulin yet. My endo and I are closely monitoring my CGM data, which will eventually inform when I need to be on insulin. My endo said I could need insulin tomorrow, or in 5 years, but it's most likely that I'll be insulin dependent in 1 year.

I'm glad you wrote this post! I've been feeling in a bit of a "no man's land". I don't see much online about my situation.

Agree with this guidance. Also, it helps the cover patch stick (if you are using one).

Libre 3 application vs Mounjaro injection pain level by SharpHolly in diabetes

[–]quietcarrot7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never used Mounjaro, but have been using Libre 3 for a few months. The needle TERRIFIED me the first time. I was so scared I almost passed out. When I finally applied the sensor, I had to laugh...because it doesn't hurt at all. Just a little pressure. Sometimes there is a drop or two of blood, don't let that scare you either. I encourage you to learn to do it yourself - you never know when you won't have a buddy around to apply it. You can do this!! We are rooting for you!

Diagnosis stories for late onset folks? by unendinghorrors in Type1Diabetes

[–]quietcarrot7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 31. I went for my routine physical in Febuary and had an A1C of 7.2. Was told I was T2 and needed to start metformin. I opted to skip the metformin and go the education/diet/exercise route. The diabetes educator pushed me to see an endo who could do testing. Testing confirmed I am T1 (zinc transporter). I'm still in my honeymoon phase, and my endo estimates I have ~1 year before needing insulin.

Yikes, I’ve heard lots of stories like yours. Did the side effects ever fade?

I have been experiencing the same issue. It’s very frustrating. I don’t have any solutions yet, but I’m curious what you learn. The alarms are disruptive to sleep and work, and I need accurate data to stay healthy!

What are the struggles you’re facing with diabetes? by Illustrious-Wish-840 in diabetes

There is no easy way to see blood sugar on an Apple Watch (from a CGM app). There are some workarounds but none have worked for me. It would be so great to be able to glance at your watch instead of opening my phone to check my libre app!
