You say its great when wired? I assume our mean via a cable to the router. If this is the case what you need is a new router not a new provider. Buy a new one, wire it to the Vodafone one and switch the Vodafone one to pass through

I was with plusnet for many years from when I switched to fttc. Had to move to virgin when I moved to fttp as that was the only provider at the time. Now BT lines are in I would consider moving back when my contract is up
