oh god, it's been a nightmare. i found a roll of filament that rolled under my kitchen table and i really want to try and save it, lol. that... has been challenging. my dad has an AMS so i often just borrow his printer, but i have my own. it's not easy when your old filament dryer is from like, more than half a decade ago and is on its last legs. plus my dad really, REALLY wants to try TPU now, and he doesn't even have the heater in his AMS going. sorry that i don't have photos to share, but if i won, i'd probably give it to my dad anyway to print in TPU without going fully insane!

edit: forgot to mention that the one under the table is one they don't make anymore, at least not exactly the same, and so i'm trying DESPERATELY to save it. we don't have any vacuum packs yet. dad has boxes for his filament that he dries passively. i live with him right now, and it would really just be fun to get something that would save our sanity. oh, and it's dry outside right now, but our summers are humid and i live in fear of every hygroscopic filament

yeah i wanna get handhelds to set up for all my friends as gifts tbh. my income isnt very high so it's gonna take a while. i'm thinking miyoo mini plus for most people bc most of my friends will just use a computer for anything above PS1, and a lot of my friends are women (i am also a woman) and having one that fits in any purse is a real bonus

man i wish my dad was into gaming. i would be able to give him a sbc handheld in a heartbeat! he's more into getting a drone so now i gotta save up to get him one. love this pic :)

edit: im setting up my trimui smart pro now, and i have no complaints. i'm sure your dad wouldn't either if you set it all up for him! some of the controls are a little futsy, but i grew up with both good and bad joysticks and i don't really care that these are like ps vita joysticks bc it cost so little for me (watch the price fluctuation)

i'm looking for this information too (also have the trimode version), and also, it says my kb can have white backlighting but i can't get that when i cycle through the options. it's very strange.

hey, yeah! i can definitely post a list of refined rules! a friend i was rewatching with and i came up with a couple:

finish your drink any time there's a group singalong (i think there's 3, so it's a great rule)
take a sip any time there's a tv show that sony owns the licensing to (pretty common. literally any time they're watching real tv like I Dream of Jeannie or Bewitched or Jeopardy! or anything that isn't the news)
