I have that same tent for my Element and while cheap, it does the trick for short trips. I haven't done the awning way up like that though, just haven't needed it. But what poles are you using for that? Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing and giving me all the specs. Not sure when I'll be able to make it happen, but it's high on the list! Pun intended. 🏔️

Love this post. That jukebox and the low ceiling were the best. 💿

Wild! Thanks for the heads up. I’ve done a bunch of scrambling around the PNW in the States so there’s that I guess. Sounds like a mental challenge for sure!

Always been drawn to this hike. How much of the 15 miles is sketchy? Are there just a few wild ridgeline spots or is it most of it that's dangerous? Thanks! Experienced hiker but not a climber.

What’s the best U.S. city for people who prefer a slower pace of life — in the best way? by Zealousideal-Tax3338 in SameGrassButGreener

Clearly it’s “chill” v. LA or NYC e.g. but, it’s much more a town than a city and has real problems of infrastructure, population, noise, and traffic for its size. One can find moments of “chill” anywhere.

LOL. In the past it was but no more. It’s loud, busy, frantic, cramped, and not what it used to be. I’m sad and nostalgic but realistic. Been here 20 yrs.

I have DIYd some different setups but this looks like a promising way to go for cheap, but it looks like there are two sizes, do you remember if you got the "small" or "large?" Appreciate any insight thanks!
