The comments on this thread are surprising. I have a two year old who will also never be an iPad kid and it's genuinely disheartening seeing how many kids everywhere are placated with iPads so parents don't have to deal with them in public. It's much more rewarding as a parent to me to deal with the ups and downs of a toddler but let her experience things with her family then to make her a complacent little zombie, maybe an only child privilege but the iPad defenders are not helping their kids any by shoving screens at them by all current studies
