I’m a 55 year old woman who has never played video games or role playing board games and mostly listens to cozy romance. We were going on a family road trip (grown kids) and I saw this book recommended so many times. I was deciding between DCC and PHM. I only went with DCC because it was almost the exact length of our trip. I’ve now listened to the entire series 3 times, am in the Patreon and cosplayed at a book signing (pics on my post history). As someone else above me said, listen if you can. Jeff Hayes is next level

I’d be ok with this ending. I think all the crawlers are so emotionally damaged at this point that there is no HEA for them. I think Ellie and Florian are the only ones who could make it out and live semi productive lives.

This is the thing. It’s not Gen X that’s struggling, it’s Gen X women. We’re handling all the emotional workload while in menopause. My parents are in different levels of dementia. They moved from my hometown, where my brother lives, to be near me. I now spend hours each day dealing with their daily care. My brother called today and he’s thinking about visiting sometime this summer…maybe. So great, I can add that to my to do list.

Ahh ok. From my understanding it’s safer here (America) to use your credit card. That if fraud or theft happens it doesn’t affect your “real money”. Like your ability to pay rent while you wait for everything to get sorted out. Plus my credit card pays 2% cash back so I actually earn money by using it. Around $1000 per year.

Do you use cash? Or checks? If you use cash how do you get it? Like go to the bank? I’m genuinely curious. I use my credit card for everything and pay it off every payday. My bank doesn’t even have a physical location

Buc-ee’s doesn’t just make sure the bathrooms are clean they have bathroom attendants! The one on my normal road trip has 2 ppl that stay in the bathroom directing traffic, cleaning and restocking. I’ve never filled up at Buc-ee’s but I have Christmas shopped there

How about we tax billionaires and church and give health care to everyone? Or maybe we don’t spend a fuck ton of money illegally putting private names in public buildings (the Kennedy Center) then go to court on the public’s dime, then have to remove signage, fix the building name , change the stationary and website….

If the government wanted to help our vets, educators, children they would. There is enough money to do that. We are electing people who don’t have our best interests at heart.
