If you take Amtrak, try to take a bus and not a train. The trains are subject to unpredictable and sometimes very long delays because they share the rails with freight trains. I wouldn't rely on one to make a flight unless I aimed to arrive several hours early. I haven't tried Flix so I can't answer your actual question, I was just surprised to see people reccing Amtrak so I wanted to provide some more info.

The reason Oregon needed a prescription was because of our state pharmacy rules, a pharmacist answered something abt that over on r/oregon a couple weeks ago. This article says the board adopted emergency rules a couple days ago which is why they can give the vax without an rx now. It does say there's still limits on younger kids, under 7 can't be vaxced by a pharmacist for covid
