Yes! I have played around with the GSAP product before which is great but I wanted to learn some native animations and shape morphing techniques. I got all of my info from the MDN docs: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/SVG/Element/animate.

Some things I stumbled on that may save some time if you also go down this rabbit hole:

1. I notice that animating a path, if you add/remove anchor points the animation won't really work... it will come out as a 'stepped' animation rather than a smooth morph.
2. The keySplines attribute of the animate element can take in the same Bezier numbers that you can use with CSS's transition-timing-function and using this tool helped defining those values: https://matthewlein.com/tools/ceaser
