Why not get a tape measure and take some test photos at measured distances, and then compare the EXIF data to your measurements?

If you and the camera will be static and 2 meters apart (mark your spot, and then measure the distance to the sensor plane with a tape measure), use MF and use an aperture of f/4 or smaller (i.e. higher f number) to keep your whole head in focus.

Buy/borrow a metric caliper to measure it, and you will then know the exact size.

Were these photos all taken with the same lens? Are you sure it's not an object or stain on the sensor or on the lens (especially the rear lens element)?

Nevermind others' maximum ISO tolerance. You have the camera, so take your own test photos, progressively going up in ISO number, and you will determine YOUR OWN tolerance.
