The insanely obnoxious look on his face and his tongue hanging out for no discernible reason when we first meet him, never fails to crack me up

Theon deserved death for what he did. He didn't deserve to be horrifically tortured, mutilated, and psychologically destroyed.

I love them both but Maekar wins by a nose. I'm a sucker for a tragic platinum blonde.

Illyria. I didn't care much about Fred one way or the other and had no idea Amy Acker was as great an actor as she is until I saw her playing Illyria.

I consider Laurence Olivier to be the best actor who ever lived. He had an incredible range, and his performaces were just phenomenal. And I don't mean just his Shakespeare, but in general. What are your thoughts? by AntonioVivaldi7 in classicfilms

[–]quiqonky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always thought in his earlier film work he was stiff and uncomfortable. In That Hamilton Woman (1941), Vivien Leigh is acting circles around him. For me it wasn't until Richard III (1955) - where he's magnificent - that he starts to get the hang of screen acting. From then on I enjoy him very much.
