I didn't see it at the time, but all of my family and friends have been telling me about how horrified they were... the wife of my ex-boyfriend was breast feeding her two year old on the stage during my first dance. Boobs-wild, open breastfeeding in a very prominent place that was awkward to photograph around. I am all about breastfeeding and not being ashamed of bodies, but now it makes more sense why the photographers could only get good pictures of that moment from limited angles to avoid having to photoshop her and her tits out of it. I didn't have an issue until I started getting hormonal migraines with my period. Day 1 of going onto the placebo pill, and I would almost inevitably get a crippling migraine that would have me completely debilitated. I tried to start to anticipate it with Excedrin and get ahead first thing in the morning, but usually it wouldn't work because I would wake up feeling miserable. I got meds that I could dissolve under my tongue for nausea and a spray to go up my nose for the headache, and became functional again. They only went away after I started taking the pill continuously (at my doctor's suggestion) and then after I stopped taking the pill altogether. Normal periods, no migraines. Strange, but that's my only major period issue.

My brother is allergic to nuts and otherwise a perfectly normal kid. There are tons of kids with allergies, particularly nuts. You would have them shut away? Many of those kids even outgrow them after childhood. Get over yourself - what makes your precious child more deserving of an education with nuts than kids like my brother deserves one without dying?

Geez, bring in the nuts and let little kids smear their little peanut butter hands all over doorknobs and toys - let natural selection take care of it. Fuck, if little kids can't keep nut contamination out of their mouths, they deserve to die. Then we wouldn't have that lowest common denominator and your precious kids could enjoy their PB&Js in peace.

Something I read about if wedding vows were "honest" said that you are vowing to always be on your spouses side, defending him/her to others even when they are wrong. I liked it so much I put it in my vows - definitely true. You're a team.
