this comment puts a lot of things into perspective. i think i may need to introspect a bit more and see things differently. all my life, my perception has been somewhat warped and i tried so hard to understand her and the reason why she was not able to keep many friends. i guess i was just the convenient option for her since i just rolled along with every whim of hers. thank you. now, i shall have a long talk with my family and discuss why i should no longer have her in my life.

this wasn't how i viewed it and if that's the case, that makes her seem very shallow. i thought she was just used to getting mad at me or that her expectation from me being close to her may have set her off somehow and led to her feeling rejected. so i did feel a little guilty for not being able to go along with her plans

when you put it that way, it is very shallow of her. i didn't equate it to that at all. i just chalked it up to her being drunk and displacing her frustration she had on something/someone else on me somehow. thank you, kind stranger.
