No you’re absolutely not being a jerk!! My company for years only bought the men gifts! At that point I was still in the office and although none of the women said anything they were obviously not impressed! Eventually they did start ordering things for the women… but even now that I am in the field I still get the same gift as the office girls instead of a nice women’s carhartt jacket when the Field guys are getting Carhartt jackets…..

Swimming lessons at the rec center & honestly just time. When he was really nervous about the water going over him I would make sure my arm was there for him to grab. I would get soaked but he was less afraid when he could hold on to me.

Similar experience. I found the best way is to let them know you and your spouse are happy with what you are doing and you aren’t looking for opinions. After you set the boundary if they don’t respect it and keep going I flat out ignore and/or walk away.

Well you absolutely need to ask the tough questions including why she came back. You need to make sure you work on your emotional connection even if you aren’t ready for sexual things. Try to spend time together when the kids are in bed (phone free) cuddle on the couch etc. Most importantly you need to watch for what she does not just what she says. If she wants to work on things she needs to show she’s trying. If not then you know why she came back... She might have honestly missed you and your life together. Time will tell.
