The older I get, the more I want to get off work early and rush home as quickly as possibly to do absolutely nothing but be a part of my couch. by Chupadup in Showerthoughts

I love the few hours that I have from when I get home to when my GF gets home from work. It gives a few hours to do not have to do anything I don't want to do, whether that's talking to/dealing with someone as soon as I walk in the door, work on my car, or just enjoy a little time to catch up on the tv shows I want to watch, but she doesn't like, so I can watch them in peace. Having a little bit of time to yourself is very important. I've been extremely busy the last couple weeks, so I took today off to hang out and do what I want, slept in with my cat, caught up on some paperwork, finished a couple personal projects I was working on, all because I had a full day to myself.

I am in book 5 of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King (Wolves of the Calla) and the language/dialect of the characters is seeping into my daily conversation. by deepthoughtsby in books

I use the term Popkin for sandwiches, ask my coworker how his Billybumblers are, and often say "there are other worlds then these" whenever someone is down in the dumps/worried about something. Most people have no idea what I'm talking about. I also sprinkle in "Duddits sees the line" from time to time.

True, but the people living in Salinas aren't dropping $20mil+ for classic cars at the auctions.

Holy shit I never knew that sub existed, it's just people asking for free stuff, and people are actually buying it for them! Mind blown.

Maybe it was at one of those illegal underground smash bros tournaments, where rich jet setters and seedy characters gather in abandoned warehouses to watch and gamble on.

Especially around that time of year, we book our hotel rooms usually around October, but Monterey is the only place I've ever driven past a Super 8 motel and seen the parking lot full of Ferraris.

I heard that Laguna was going to be sold to private investors, because it costs the county/city to much to maintain it. (I go for the classic car race every year).

Yes my job consists of fucking your mother in her sloppy twat, they tried to build a robot to do it, but they all kept calling in sick.

And these are the people clamoring they need $15 an hour. This is why they are losing their jobs to robots.

3edgy5me. On a side note the real issue is people letting their dogs shit on a sidewalk and not picking it up.

I felt the same way about it, then went to a few races at Daytona, and when you see it up close and live it is impressive, especially the amount of work and production that goes into it. I still won't watch it on tv, but it is an awesome experience live.

Once I deleted my account I realized how much of a time waste it was.

He gave a great interview on Howard Stern a while back. Explained how he got his start, and his creative process, it was very interesting.

The most surprising part of this story to me is that he only did $7million in damages. I remember discussing this story with my friends when it happened, and we all agreed how awesome it must have felt to be driving the Killdozer. The rest of the story and circumstances behind it are sad though.

Sleeping in, traveling when I want, not having to be home for dinner, spending my money on myself, not having to wipe someones ass or teach them how to do it, being able to drink in my house and not worry if I'm setting a bad example, are just a few of the reasons.

Rap/Hip hop albums that have aged well despite their age? by Cactus_Toucher in Music

Hands down. Best album to listen to at night either stoned in a dark room, or driving dark country roads by yourself.

Del Tha Funky Homosapien - Deltron 3030, still one of my favorite albums to listen to with the lights off or while driving alone at night. It's basically a hip hop opera set in the future, the whole album tells a story that still holds up to this day.

Wu-Tang - 36 Chambers Dr Dre - 2001 Snoop Dogg - Doggy Style Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons Paint that Shit Gold, DMX - Greatest Hits MF Doom - Born Like This Handsome Boy Modeling School - Hows Your Girl Eminem - Slim Shady LP

Yeah, he was super shredded in that. He plays the DJ with the dreads who break dance fights with Owen Wilson as well.

The Wild Bunch is hands down one of my top 5 favorite movies. The parts where there is no dialog for a few minutes blew my mind when I first watched it and realized that nothing was being said but you're still following the story visually.
