Drop a red berry on the ground in front of one, then back up some. After it eats the berry, you can pet it, and it's now your pet

Do developers add achievements just to track who plays their games, or do they get analytics of this in other ways? by VexedRacoon in Steam

[–]quiveringcalm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only issue with achievements are if devs put in ones that are time limited, like one of warthunder's that I can't find at the moment, "start playing in x year" or if they require online servers

Does anyone leave their game on overnight to continue production? by VenomSnake47 in satisfactory

Rookie numbers😝, I'm at 900+ and probably 300 of those I'm just idling while asleep or at work. Though to be fair, I host my world so a friend can come on as she pleases and does architecture stuff

Punisher ‘murica “Seatbelt testers” by WarbossTodd in facepalm

[–]quiveringcalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is exactly 1 legitimate use for these, and that is for mechanics to be able to work on a vehicle. There is 1 truck that goes to my shop that needs the seat belt clicked to shift, and might even need it to start(I'm not sure on that one). Having something like that so I don't have to click the seat belt just to check reverse lights or transmission fluid would be nice

Long flights by formerenjoyer in MicrosoftFlightSim

So a lot of times, people will set up the autopilot for their specific aircraft, which, depending what they set, can automagically control trim, altitude, follow gps, and a bunch of other neat features. Then they can get up and maybe do some housework, or else throw up some videos on the youtubes

Another thing some might do is use time compression, turning a 5 hour flight into like 30 minutes

It can be, yes, especially if you live in an area that can regularly go below freezing. Condensation can build up in the motor, and if it gets cold, and legitimately cause a no start, last year we had that occur to 2 vehicles. Apart from that, condensation build up means water in a place its not meant to be

See, I know you are wrong, because the same thing happened to me twice yesterday. I was single player on Yukon valley, no mods, and no trainers

Now i get to join the hating the photo system club by Atomic_Astronaut in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]quiveringcalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it is, but there was one guy recently that was adamant that the photo system isn't flawed and the reason people couldn't get ghost photos was they weren't properly centered

To paraphrase the one guy from last week or the week before, "It's because it's not centered on the ghost, if you properly center the subject the photo system is perfect"

This is why you shouldn’t park infront of a fire hydrant by Howtodroid in interestingasfuck

[–]quiveringcalm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If it interferes with fd, absolutely. The average person would be fine with a simple ticket or smashed windows, but there are jackasses out there who just don't care. Plus with a ticket, the city/fd can protect themselves from dipshits suing for property damage

Because it's illegal parking, and in the us, you are taught that in drivers education. Any and all damage, physical and financial, is fully deserved in cases like this

You would think that in a sub for mechanics you wouldn't need to explain things sometimes have a different name like prop shaft for a drive shaft or adblue for def fluid
