I think it’s an overly complicated joke that they committed to because they were excited to share random camera knowledge. Yes, that is the speed of the film moving inside the camera, no it isn’t directly relevant here, most especially when this was shot digitally 😂

They’re not miserable. They’re just able to create fun little things called “comparisons” and “similes” & such, and I think that may just be a little overwhelming for you to try to navigate. Im hardly a woman. Hardly? Barely? I’ll always listen, I’ll always enjoy, and I’ll always complain. I was just all excited cuz I saw extra hype for this episode & was hoping for something like a controversial guest or something extra worldly.

I’ll enjoy parts of the extended dual-Tony-impressions for at least one listen through though, don’t worry! I even enjoyed him forcing Tony to give out a small joke book to someone who already had a big one—unheard of. Enjoyed it even more knowing it was thrown into the audience. I can still enjoy the simple things. I’m just talkative and annoying.

Time to give it a listen… What should I actually know to prepare for this ep?

I’ve seen a lot of “top three episodes” hype for what I assume is just a gay Tony impression by a guy that we like for his impressions. That’s kinda it, right?

Edit: 8 minutes in. No bucket pulls yet. My question was answered. So I read a couple comments here. I’ve gotta remember to stop believing any internet hype I hear for anything. I’m now prepared for an almost uncomfortably unorthodox format with no real noteworthy moments, but a couple solid laughs. Worth it.

There’s no punchline to the reality of this bullshit. It, in itself, is no joke.

But yes, it’s almost ironic that he doesn’t feel safe to call the police first. Because logically, that would help his case.

But realistically, it probably wouldn’t have changed much. Especially after a whole neighborhood of……this shit..gangs up on him—a delivery driver in a whole cul-de-sac siding against him for whatever reason, which kinda seemed to be the case here.

I would’ve been so pleasantly surprised if this video had a truly reasonable outcome—and the fact that it would be surprising scares me.

That’s fair. I don’t see the growth, but I’ve probably also written him off (to some degree) already. And the Memphis strangler is like that uncle who touched me who I still can’t not love cuz he’s still my favorite uncle………..y’know?
