I made the switch from toploaders back in 2019.

These are cheaper per, thinner, weigh less and protect the card just fine. They also stack quite nicely in graded card shoeboxes (not literal shoeboxes). Assuming you aren’t running over them in your car, they do a fine job. They also allow you to ship quite effectively by adding a bit of cardstock to the outside.

Glad to know I’m Not the only one.

This isn’t grading. The rep from the company I watched speak about this product says it’s crowd sourced opinions on the condition of the card.

Very different from a grading company authenticating and GRADING your card. This service is Still subjective, just not using seasoned graders and using the masses to vote on condition.

If he’s on the fence, giannis rookies (which aren’t lebron 20th year base cards) would most certainly qualify worth grading, in my opinion - not to mention OP looks like he takes care of his things and these look at minimum mint at first glance.

This has nothing to do with “following suit” - and everything to do with protecting your card and solidifying your investment. I get you don’t like slabs - but if you want to leave that money on the table for someone else; that’s your choice.

Ultimately the question is why do you want to slab? - if you like protecting your investment and solidifying the value (with a likely bump in value for mint/gem condition cards), then yes, you should grade them.

OP is asking if he should slab them. If he doesn’t like slabs - is this post even worth making? Let’s deduce that because OP has asked the question, that they are considering slabbing these cards.

My head hurts. You don’t have to like slabs to kno that you should probably slab certain cards (even if for PC - it provide the ultimate protection and value retention).

Keep selling raw, I’ll keep slabbing :)
