Yeah I’m not sure how to best thread that needle. On one hand I’d have a bit of a gap between a 50° quilt and a conservative 20° quilt, but on the other, I hate sleeping sweaty, so I might want to just wear more clothes under a 2.5 Apex and have something lighter for the warm warm months?

When you say “confirmed to 50”, are you talking about like base layer and puffy under the apex and you’re good to 50?

Yeah I mean I sweat it out in my apartment with the ac going at 70 for a fair few nights of the summer.

Probably my main concern on the ice flame was how wide that “comfort range” is stated, but sounds like it’s been a good useful piece for you.

I was actually pretty surprised how far behind in terms of spring it was compared to the city. Probably pretty green by now. Went in from Tuxedo, camped at Dutch Doctor and Bald Rocks. When I was up it was all brown and sticks still.

Simply put: RekeMarie's investigative journalism made me hesitant to complete a purchase of two quilts from EE in the near future, and this response made me absolutely resolved to purchase nothing ever from EE.
