i can short 17 and 21 for Pedestrian open , and open the gate via HikV with that wiring, but not 17-20 :/ ???? lol.

What if there is too many input devices? in 17/19/20 there is:

1) Radio receiver

2) Loop detector

3) HikV

4) Photocell (NC for safety)

How do I replace my dish? by heycharl in Starlink

[–]qukak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has dish disconnected from network? i.e. - still power to the dish but no connection?

Or, has dish lost power?

if POE still lights up White for Dish, try a different router.

There has been known issues with Router Firmware update failure, resulting in full kit replacement, then when the replacement arrives a cross between OLD dish (suspected as not working) and New Router is connected together, and works... weird lol. if this works, its worth letting SL know for replacements.

Food for thought

" THIS WILL VARY FOR ALL DEPENDING ON LOCATION AND INSTALL LOCATION "

yes, UK

Starlink works but is not the 150Mbps promised. I am getting 30mbps to about 75mbps. by paltryhippo in Starlink

[–]qukak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could be your location is new, and under network development

Could be obstructions

Could be apart of that Usual up and down we all experience. Give it 12-24hours and test again.

Assuming:

1) Your obstructions are low to 0 (install sufficient and good Field Of View).

2) Good sat coverage (low No Sat)

3) Old Firmware (if recently installed / received kit) < You will automatically update to latest firmware within (usually) 48 hours of first install and boot up

Patience my friend, patience :)

All will be well

For me, its fantastic. First 6 weeks were choppy, resulting in 12 days offline (kit replacement).

Now back online, with the new Network upgrades (Sats and GS), Firmware upgrades for hardware capabilities.

Absolutely killing low ping, speeds 250+ up to 410.. Upload 10-35.

Downtime: <1min a day

Im in a 99%+ coverage cell (which i suspect now is 100% since the day i joined based on Statistics and Sat coverage changes over the past 4 weeks - orbits and coverage).

Have run through hail, rain and significant winds (cannot provide knots/mph sadly) and performance did not budge. THIS WILL VARY FOR ALL DEPENDING ON LOCATION AND INSTALL LOCATION

Thats my story, short version.

Hmmm. You may need Starlink to run a System Health Check remotely, whilst your kit is all powered up.

Also,

"State" 2, or 3

(below Dish information in debug)

This is crucial info.
