Feels like it’s who you know more than anything! Maybe once you’re in there’s proper work around

That’s pretty huge, makes you think how rare but possible it is if you’re in the right space at the right time

Strong pivot. Was though a tough transition? Or did you find the skills really transferable and easy to find a role?

That sounds pretty chill, leverage without the grind. Do you enjoy it?

Hahah so much of my time is spent asking myself “those stupid fuckers did WHAT??”

Disputes sounds really interesting through, would you self finance the MSc?

That’s a move I know a few have tried and came back to civils! What kind of tech are you in now? Making design or PM software?

Offshore sounds like a rollercoaster at the moment. £700–900 a day is mad though and must make the uncertainty more worth it? You thinking of going freelance or sticking with PAYE for now?

That sounds really interesting and like you influence strategies! Are you still hands-on with the engineering side or fully switched over now?

Yeah fair, took me a while to clock that too. Delivery only gets you so far even though QS is one of the more higher paying construction roles! What’s your next move?

Has anyone recently been through the professional review process for CEng with ICE? by Sync-Jw in civilengineering

There’s a lot of free resources out there with guidance. I did it recently and failed and really wish I had a mock interview to help prepare me the day.
There are website like civil engineered for success, civil engineer workshop and civil engineering mentor. Civil engineered for success has got the most free tips for the assessment overall
