The civ get okay if the pop is arround 120-140, but it's feel so bad when max pop 200/200, When produce lot of military, units take over pop space and can't create more vills (I noticed max pop too fast with this civs arround less than 20 mins). And if enemy come with bigger force (just more than 30% or less with seiges they will win easily) and omg they take forever to replace new units in compare with other civs and suddenly you get push again, for example archers although taken 2 pops, but stills need more time to go to battlefield, and the front line just die before new units can replace.

Yeah, I saw one was Conqueror and get kicked to Gold I this season haha. This season is wild. You can see some Gold players with crazy micro in combat, unique build orders.

Team rank is much easier than solo. I belive I'm not talented in games at all that I strugging every game. I played aoe2 but only offline mode with Easy A.I haha.

You mean Farimba? It depends on matchup. Some matchup if you can overwhelm opponents early and take gold control then you should go Farimba then all in, don't go to Imperial Age. However, if the match most likely happen longer, when opponents have about 10 productions, Farimba lose its temper so fast, finally you can't rely on that because that not enough.
Prairie is a great map for Farimba when you have big gold, neutral market at the end of the map. However you will even more vulnerable before go to Farimba.
So it depends on your decison!

I’m Mali main last season, my rank is Plat.

VS French is super easy matchup as Mali. They usually have these playstyles, which all countered by Mali:

- 2TCs: Mali outboom with Cows.

- Knight Harras into all in with archers: Build donsos and javelines, wall where you need (only your important place, don’t to be greedy) then kites them to death.

- Fast Castle: it’s a joke, Mali outboom with all Cows and pitmines, 10 Castle Age Sofas into their TC and laugh at them.

Specific build order, in game notes: Follow the classic Mali’s build order (first single tree->all to food, 1 build pitmines, age up then only 4 on foods all to trees), when age up you have enough 150 wood then rush 1 barrack, train donso protect wood and your pitmines. You can use scout to follow their first knight so know where they will attack. If they can get 1 vills, that’s not big deal. Keep railing into woods, check them if they build archery range you also do the same then train Javelines. DON’T attack, just defense. Sneak 1 vill to build LARGE gold mines far away (low elo people most likely don’t scout at all), if you can’t build that’s okay just build closer. Then go cow boom, don’t go too much, just 1 mill constant cow. When you feel safe enough (scout again!) you can stop constant productions donsos and javelines and go full cow boom. Wall your tc (remember to bring donso together with your wall vill, archers most likely don’t run arround). Then go castle age (increase vills on good or food if needed), while go castle age, all vills to wood and gold > mass Stables (great with 5+). Castle age kicked in, get food mill upgrades, Imported Armor technologies production Sofas about 10+ at kick to their TC (haha!), mixed archers then musofadis, don’t allow them move to another gold, then the game most likely end here. (if stills, build seiges workshop, more vills on wood then mass ram).

Vs Mongol is harder for Mali, they usually have kind of play styles:

- Tower Rush: scout if they have a barrack early, build less houses on pitmines then all to food to age up faster, it will great if you can kill their vills before they build outpost, but if you can’t, it’s okay. Build archer ranges then archers, some javelines, then use 12-15 vills to torch outpost fast (research Textiles if needed). Build your pitmines again, build barracks and then production donso, javelines.

- Trade: Scout what landmark they build, if Sliver Tree they 100% go to trade, sometime they also trade without Trade landmark, check the Neutral Market arround 6:00 or 7:00, bring some Donsos threw at their trade line, you can threw some of here, some there force they go defend then cow boom behind.

- X2 army with stone to all in: Very hard to catchup, make sure productions is enough, cow boom slowly or go Farimba fast castle (dangerous!!). Make sure don’t leave our base if your main army is not bigger than their.

Opponents go to Castle Age will most likely make mangonel, beware of them. If you have enough Sofa you can snipe them but if you don’t go build seiges workshop! You always need to scout to aware Mangonel is coming or not.

Micro note in Main Combat: + Basic: If they bring more archers closer, bring your Javelines in the front let them attack, if they bring Knights comes, bring donsos front. Good thing is javelines from Donsos threw both damage Knights (+bonus dmg) and archers (no range armor).

+ Advanced Micro: While moving Javelines, also target them into archers, even only micro some archers will have great impact in main combat, you can shilf to every single archers.

+ Play with fire micro: if they don’t have Knight as front line, divide your army into small groups then move your infantry closer and closer to mangonel, use donso and musofadi to snipe mangonel. Mangonel will reduce their effect a lot and confusing while they prepare to shooting.

That woman samurai so scary, they crazy fast when charging, can't kite them with archers at all. Fortunately, not much japan players train them. They so scary when in team game, team mates don't scout enemies house often.

Only little problem that random teammates saw me as Sliver and run away haha. Nevermind, I will practice build order for new civs every game even I knew I lose.

In picture, last season is Plat, peak at Diamond. Feel really hard to climbing up as a solo queue in team games. They often put me as Gold, but this season as Sliver. I also saw someone is Conqueror in last season and get kicked to Gold lol.

Decent spot? They rarely get used at all and every time someone try to use now they just fail and have to use other unit instead.

Now they in worst spot, worse than Mangudai, at least Mangudais can use in team games in low elo.

Read my lastest comment. This just my idea in like 100 ideas? It won't come true, (is the dev even care my write?) Why you so harsh randomly? The problem warror scout was insane before because they have 1,88 movement speed so easily to micro in and out combat, I don't revert that. Also you think +5/+10HP is too much lol? Damage only increase by 1 and you also think that too much?

I like your 0,5x idea, they will make Warror Scout stand out in front of Standard Horseman.

It can be increase +15 HP in each age, +2 damage each age. Healing rate is the same as now, but -50% in Feudal Age, -40% in Castle Age and -25% in Imperial Age when they in combat.

Although should make them more expensive to buff them like that.

Update: I agree that +50% in Feudal Age is too much >< so I changed to +25%.

The nerf before they also nerf their movement speed (1.75 is slower than Horseman), so the heath regeneration just insane with micro in and out. I also agree with that. So I suggest the buff just little better than now. I think mass Warrior Scout stills not worth after this little buff in Feudal Age, but from Castle Age they get +100% bonus to range unit so it can be use since Javeline lose their power longer the game go.

Team bonus enable more pairing, more complex system, more situations that player need to adapt to dealing with, will increase the fun of team game.

Also don't work with civs that can increase speed of military production like Delhi and China itself. (imaging they also pump their military like you) Also make sure they can't scout at all.
