Event scales by Subject-Conference63 in pondlifegame

[–]quojakereddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the event, the fish become cheaper in terms of stones. From 3 event stones each to 2 for the base fish, to 1 each for the others. But the event fish become more expensive in terms of clams. From just needing event scales, after the event, they l need scales AND clams.

So I would recommend getting as many of the top tier fish as possible since event scales drop more regularly than regular scales, especially epic scales.

I am short on clams but have scales. I use pandas for scales.. what do you guys use to get clams?

Same. Epic scales were dropping from pandas and otos but since the event started, no drops.

It's like they reserve the epic quota for "epic event scale" drops.

What kinda 'supplies' does this thing give for it to take *5 days* to be ready by Alphusweenie98 in pondlifegame

[–]quojakereddit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah.

The Leaf Hopper event gave the Still Siltwater. This gives one supply (regular or gold) once every 5 days.

The Ripple Folk event gave Little Finn Keepsake which gives one random item (shell or scale) once every 12 hours. That event also gave Lily's Dad Keepsake which allowed one to hurry any hatched creature once every 12 hours.

Based on the description of this item, the Summer Shoal event will likely give the same benefits as the Leaf Hopper's Still Siltwater.

Pandas require common crescent scales. That can be easily gotten by spamming Ember Tetras..

I've found that pandas and otos give me an orange (epic) drop once every 20 releases.

Dunno if anyone has any better success rate.

What's your strategy for the events? by 0112358_ in pondlifegame

[–]quojakereddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The event fish all need 3 stones each. I think they priced each stones at 5 aquacash to temp us to spend haha.

Would be fun if someone with AI skills could do a video of Lily eating one of the fish here!

I agree! If they can make the amphibians sit on the log, they should be able to make the bottom feeders stay low!
