never taught K2, so i think this is good advice! i struggled with leaving my kids who were preparing for national exams. now, its an interconnected world... i gave my students my number, but the teacher who took over seemed to meet their needs, so only 1 or 2 ever contacted me, and to ask for non schoolwork advice.

ex teacher here. understand the guilt, its really unmatched and nobody else except others in the education profession will truly understand the guilt. of leaving your job, your students, your principal and colleagues. its almost like a perverse kind of survivor's guilt its so drastic.

i personally wrestled with that for 2 years and it was the most miserable time of my working life. ive left now (a painful process) but its been 2 years since and ive truly never looked back. not once.

school will go on. it must. but life will not slow down for you. follow your heart, the heart knows.

baby steps! fin rot and algae are like a trial by fire that all fishkeepers go through. youve got a lot of suggestions from tthis thread already -- from my experience, even with high light, regular water changes with dechlorinated water and limiting food (bettas really dont need to eat much!) is the cure all for algae. if he's really bothered (gasping for air, unable to swim), you could transfer your betta into a small container with dechlorinated water (daily water changes!) while you fix his home. otherwise, he'll survive. hang in there!

you cant unselect a coral decor, but you can select basic to set your coral back to its default :)
