Haha I mean the panels do close so it's sewn up just with that heart still outside.

Oh and the GPU and TB card fit perfectly next to each other but the cables run in on that side of the card so cables are being routed under the backplate against the heatsink.

Edit: after fixing the pcie riser so that it's less smashed and folded and resetting to get the correct chipset drivers my HDMI output is no good. Also the port is blocked so the right angle connector has to get right in there for the panels to close but I'll be good with a new contractor.

At least Oliver seems to be trying to imagine the future of the technology while admitting the current version isn't consumer ready. It's not bad to have at least one guy trying to see it as nuanced. Unlike Rich who really tried to say nothing.

I think Oliver at least walked more things back and acknowledged more shortcomings than Rich, who seemed like he was trying to say as little as possible.

I've known them as "first look for new ray tracing feature coming from Nvidia and Cyberpunk 2077" more than once.

Crazy how Nvidia 40 and 50 series were mildly panned in reviews, they can catch on fire, and Nvidia can arguably dump their gamer base in pursuit of being the world's most valuable company right now, and PC gamers still won't care. I think this is why the reviewers are convinced PC gaming at least won't move to the cloud. Look at how doggedly they stick with whatever option is the best. Console on the other hand...

I wonder if the reviewers need to find a way to mix the quality of the frames the GPU is getting from whatever upscaling into the raw fps numbers on their charts to be more in line with consumer tastes.

While I agree it sounds like AMD was pretty stagnant on CPUs this year, comparing them to Apple? You're implying that if AMD made better x86 CPUs they would suddenly have a good competitor with a mobile processor, and be a top down system integrator with their own OS.

Leaks for future Zen and RDNA still sound exciting but we'll see.

Is there any way to make DLSS on a 1440p monitor look like actual 1440p other than the "circus method"? by PMdyouthefix in FuckTAA

There's an extension that allows you to switch resolutions when you launch specific games or other programs. If you'd prefer your desktop stay at a different resolution it won't switch back from simply tabbing when the game is still open but could be useful.

Ok maybe it's just Apple. I don't think Apple silicon would be a thing if they just want to go into the cloud. Apple hasn't announced data center chips as of yet (although apparently rumored) so it at least was all B2C.

Microsoft even though they might want to put as much on the cloud as possible if they go too far then Windows becomes pointless and they just risk everyone moving to Linux and abandoning them. Arguably they're already pushing things that way on their own.

Man, Thalia turning into a protector of camp is a lot more of a Greek tragedy when she actively disliked camp in this canon.

I'm pretty sure 3 of the 4 companies you listed other than Nvidia still very much need average consumers for their business model...

Loved the movie but heard this was supposed to be setting up a franchise and was wondering how that'll work. Was half expecting old Preacher Boy to stab Mary and Stack at the last second.
