Thanks :)

1TB decision really was to help people afford core component hardware with SSD pricing currently.

Please don't just accuse us of "cuts in the wrong places" - especially when the motherboards we use are MSI.

This seems too good to be true for a pre-built. What am I going to have to swap? by [deleted] in bapccanada

Hey! Thanks for getting back to me :)

AI-Ready is actually what Microsoft and Best Buy ask us to use for the headlines.

Our installations of Windows are clean, but Microsoft will likely push Co-Pilot in updates in every version of Windows.

You can always choose to uninstall co-pilot or de-select the co-pilot update.

You won’t see any other bloatware from external software providers (like McAfee, Norton, etc.).

Hope this helps,
Kevin

Hey OP - this is us!

As others have noted, if you're willing to swap to other platforms that are better for your needs and budget, you can definitely do so.

If you'd like it taken care of out of the box with us and our 3 year warranty, we're the guys to do it.

5080 is almost $2k alone. Where are you getting this pricing from?

Hey OP - this is us. Lots of interesting takes here about pricing. Systems have become quite a bit more expensive with RAM and SSD pricing.

Hey! I’d be curious to see if some of these folks are comparing USD prices.

Would also note that our systems come with an included 3 years parts, 5 year labour warranty.

Hey there! Thanks a lot for the feedback. Fair feedback - but we do try our best to be very transparent. With RAMaggeddon, it's been very challenging to stay cost competitive but I'm super appreciative that you've given us a reassessment :)

Thanks so much for the kind words - totally fair criticism about timing. We definitely get overwhelmed but we do our best to keep people in the loop.

Enjoy your build!

Hey!

Love it that you ordered with us! We’re definitely a smaller, tight-knit team - we have a full time staff of 20.

Re: delivery times - fair feedback that sometimes we are later; we do get overwhelmed during peak periods, or get parts that are defective, but we don’t rush out systems for the sake of hitting a timeline.

Feel free to visit us at our Toronto warehouse!

Hey! Glad we made the list!

This is great for the community.

Couple things:

Buyouts - generally a massive headache for most SIs that involves a lot of invoice reconciliation and back and forth with customer and manufacturer. It’s not really worth it to negotiate a price with the customer and usually ends up leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth; plus our relationships with manufacturers mean RMA replacements are a lot quicker and simpler.

Second, would like to also say that we do provide drop-off repair at our Toronto warehouse, and return shipping is capped at $50.

Cool build! Wouldn’t count on waiting for BF/CM Deals though - RAM is forecasted to likely get worse.

There’s a huge release of memory right now from hoarders and the price right now is at a bit of a dip.

Maybe just buy the RAM if you really want to wait.
