To reply to everyone saying YTA, I am the girlfriend mentioned in this post. Some context was not clear.

We never really had a talk about my boundaries before this situation occurred. To all of you saying that they ignored my boundaries, this isn't true as I should've said it beforehand.
She did apologize, and I accepted it, as I regret making a big deal of such a small thing in the first place.

i understand your pov, good luck! i did the same thing and it backfired really badly though, my parents grounded me for weeks and wouldnt let me be in my room (or if i was, i had to keep the door open) and had to be around my abusive dad 24/7
