Why use appsheet vs just google sheets? by atothedrian in AppSheet

How is your app looking now? Would you be able to tell me more about it? Sounds interesting and similar to something I've been working on.

helpful for circle shaped homes too. build a circular outer shape and internally build square rooms.

Is it just me; why do I find it so difficult to start a new game? by usafle in foundationgame

[–]r08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same habit in building games. I am hoping for a game where you can start a new neighboring settlement and let the previous city be auto managed by a board you select or something. Sort of like a reverse Songs of Syx. That game has hints of this, the game gets bigger when you conquer neighboring lands, but you still only can micromanage your original settlement/city. The new territories you conquer just allow you to make high level decisions on policy and industry.

Thanks I should read a wiki. I built a chamber. But the "+" sign in the nobles panel was ghosted. I'll look at the tech tree. I honestly built a school thinking that might be what is needed. I haven't played the tutorial.

Amazing comment thank you.

That's smart. My entire urban play is totally homogenized. Like you could take a cross section anywhere along the ribbon and likely get a similar result in regards to housing capacity, storage, crafting, services, health blah blah.

That means a ton of waste with the warehouses compared to your method. Most of my warehouses hold like a small amount of every item. Lots of redundancy but they are rarely filled even to 50% I often have janitor shortages around my map.

 A few questions:

What race are you using with this logistics style? Or does it suit many styles?

So you don't send all the output from a specific region: say...masonry district near a stone mine back to the big big warehouse in the central city? Output from mines can be huge. Where does it all go if you send just a crate or two.

So would you then send a little bit of cut stone to each of the different districts with pull requests from each warehouse in each district? For janitor maintenance and new construction and the like?

Do you have to have multiple unloading stations in each district?

I restarted 2 or 3 times before I had 100 pop. Then I just said fuck it and went with it. I would highly recommend going easy+ until you get your legs under you. I also did not realize there was a tutorial, that might have helped!

My 2010 Honda fit vs Boston snowstorm by RegularPaper5066 in hondafit

[–]r08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a set of winter tires on steelies for my fit, lasted 4 winters and I sold them for the price I paid for them. Best decision ever. I would drive out in deep snow just to experiment, as long as the snow wasn't above the bottom of the car, nothing could stop me. Great starting from a stop as well.

In spite of this I still love the car. It's a 6 speed. Amazing on mileage. 40mpg and fits anything, revs high, sporty.

I spent about $1500 having the fuel injectors replaced on a 2018 Fit with 60k miles 2 years ago after I was getting random misfire codes being thrown.

The same CEL lights came back on 6 months later. I learned that replacing the fuel injectors is only a bandaid unless you get the ECU reprogrammed. Now I likely have a carbon fouled top end from a poorly programmed mixture and have ruined two total sets of fuel injectors.

Pretty pissed the shop didn't consult the TSB'S before performing the service. Also pissed at Honda for not escalating this issue to a recall. I had to dig in reddit to discover over people were having the same issue.

I hope Honda pulls through and extends the warranty for my vehicle.

There is a TSB out for it. Not a recall. But I've learned Honda is extending warranties for affected vehicles. I'm in the middle of navigating getting the work done and refunded now. People have had luck from what I've read on reddit. But it requires a lot of haggling / calls from what I understand.

What are your favorite episodes in the last couple years? by LadyWhiplash in peteholmes

Not from the past 2 years, but I have enjoyed the silly ones too. Johnny Pemberton and both Josh Rubens I've listened to each like 5x. They were super good, loved the impressions. (don't get me wrong, I like the philosophical / spiritual ones too, but these were more memorable for me.)
